Do not confine our brothers and sisters of Oromo origin only in certain parts of Ethiopia. They are everywhere and they belong anywhere in Ethiopia. No one particular ethnic group has a monopoly on Ethiopia. Ethiopia belongs to all of us. Let us just get rid off the Woyane pests and live in peace and harmony in our beautiful country.

It is true that the area now called Wollo was known as Bete-Amhara.In the early 17th century the brave Oromo soldiers led by their famous leader named Wollo defeated the Amharas and took control of much of Bete Amhara.The Amharas retreated northwards.Some decades later the Amharas reorganised their army and using the modern weapons of the time that was given to Jebertis or Muslim Amharas from the Ottoman Turks who were in control of the Red Sea region both Christian and Muslim Amharas committed barbaric genocide against the ill-armed Oromos.Oromo survivors were pushed southwards to Shewa.Thus,it's not a crime if the current Oromo generation claims its anscstral right.Yes the seven million Amharas in todays Wollo are savage invaders!

14122ae9, you are confusing things. It was not because he was oromo, half of the royal family at that time were oromos. It was only because he was muslim. As you know Ethiopia was since the 4th century officially a christian state and no muslim was allowed to become Emperior. That is it. It has nothing to do with being oromo but with being muslim. Let's stick to facts and do not make things up for current politics.
